It is the first film of the franchise The Conjuring . Starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson , the production focuses on two world-known paranormal investigators, who were hired to investigate supernatural phenomena that haunt the Perron family, residents of the small, isolated town of Harrisville. In Brazil, its debut took place on September 13, 2013. [ 2 ] [3 ] After its release, the film received an excellent reception, both commercial and film critic. Invocation of Evil is considered by many movie critics the best haunting film of the last decade.
